2021: What to expect with health, economy, and education

It's a new year. 

For me, it feels like an opportunity to give the anticipated 2020 another chance to act right. We—individuals and countries made plans for the year, but the deadly Covid-19 pandemic hijacked it.

Although things are not exactly back to normal, there's no way to get back all the lost lives, but we crave change and the new year gives us hope that we'll get just that.

If 2020 has taught us anything, it is to be more prudent in our expectations, using that approach, we expect these few things in 2021.



As one would expect, one of the most significant things on everyone's mind as the year starts is the Covid-19 vaccine, eager to get life back on track. 

In December, Nigeria's health minister, Osagie Enahire, proposed that the federal government buy enough vaccines to immunise about 70% of the population with more than ₦400 billion.
