Post-lockdown: How Nigerian hotels are staging a comeback

When I moved to Paris for a study program a year ago, I never imagined that I would be locked away in the City of Lights for almost four months.

The coronavirus outbreak came at the worst time, not just for me but everyone who endured physical, psychological and economic constraints. After some months of “stay at home” measures, the French president, Emmanuel Macron, gave the green light to ease restrictions in early June.

I was ecstatic, considering my birthday was the following month. I already had plans for a trip exploring Europe. But I had to settle for some good old Parisian fun since the borders stayed closed.
