The story of Gricd: A storage solution company

What are the odds that I’ll be at Ogere market in Ogun state—one of the markets with a ColdHubs storage house—a few days after I wrote about the problem? It was so fascinating, but even amid a solution, problems still abound. Traders were scattered around bidding for goods with their baskets of tomatoes and tatashe in murky water.

It was an eyesore.

Wastage was evidently still a challenge because the cold storage room barely took up 5% of the market space. It was not enough to cater to everyone. It’s a drop in the ocean. Like ColdHubs, another company that caught my interest while I looked into cold storage was Gricd.
